Renovation of Grade II Listed Apartment
Primrose Hill, London NW1
Set in the centre of Primrose Hill Village on a private street overlooking the park, this beautiful garden apartment was found completely unmodernised – having been in the same hands for over 40 years.
The comprehensive renovation programme saw the building stripped back to reveal the original fabric, including large sections of original plasterwork, and patches of the original red velvet wallpaper.
Ground floor rooms rooms were returned to their Georgian splendour; juxtaposed by a bright, clean and modern kitchen & conservatory wing to the rear.
We also nearly doubled the lower floor area – making three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large playroom in what was previously a back-filled garden.
Total project cost: £400,000 inc.VAT and professional fees. Completed June 2014. Sold in 2017 for £2,900,000.
